All of these wonderful dogs are currently being cared for by loving EBBR rescue volunteers, unless otherwise noted. Our rescues are always kept in foster homes, not kennels. This makes them used to a home/family environment, which makes the adjustment from foster to adoptive home much easier on everyone.
Owner assisted placements are still with their owner and are awaiting a foster home or adoptive home. These dogs have not been evaluated by EBBR, but they will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated & tested prior to adoption.

Trinity is a beautiful little girl who is about 6 mos old as of 1/1/10. She was rescued along with her sister Ebony from a breeder/hoarder. She's extremely sweet, but is a bit more reserved than her sister. She's a total sweetie pie, and loves to cuddle and give kisses. She's good in the kennel and almost housebroken! Trinity is VERY tolerant of other dogs, but does play rough with cats.
Since we've gotten this question a bit about her coat...Trinity is considered a black tricolor, this is a coat variation of the American Pit Bull Terrier. Since her breeder gave her up to the rescue, the litter was never registered, but she IS a purebred APBT. She will probably top out around 50 lbs as an adult. We all think she is just stunning, and can't believe she's been waiting for an adoptive home since mid-Nov!
Adoption Fee: $100.00

UPDATE: June 1, 2010: Peanut is STILL with us!!!
UPDATE: 1/5/10 - Peanut finished her heartworm treatment today!!!
UPDATE: 11/24/09 - Peanut was spayed today, had her teeth cleaned, and we found out she is heartworm positive! Peanut starts her heartworm treatment on Dec 7, and will be ready for adoption once she finishes, which will take about a month. Still such an amazing dog. If you're looking for a mellow, calm, loving, couch potato of a pit bull, you won't get a dog better than Peanut.
Peanut is an amazing soul. She was rescued from a hoarder/back yard breeder, after lord only knows how many litters she's pumped out. Her ears have been completely cut off in one of the worst battle crops I have ever seen. No, we do not think she's been faught, thats just the term for a VERY short ear crop! Peanut is fantastic with dogs, cats and people of all ages. She's an amazing girl and deserves only the absolute best home. Peanut is a blue brindle and weighs approximately 80 lbs.
