Monetary donations are always needed to help us to pay for the necessary vet costs associated with getting our rescue dogs ready for their new homes.

On average, we spent over $200 per rescue dog to get them completely vetted, this includes: spay/neuter, microchip, rabies vaccine, bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine, DHLPPC vaccine, heartworm test, fecal test. We also must keep each dog on monthly preventatives: Heartgard & Frontline Plus. We also feed a high quality dog food, as most dogs that come into the rescue are malnourished. We feed Dick Van Patton's Natural Balance or Nature's Recipe Venison Formula. 

If a dog is sick and needs special care or surgery, those bills can range from a couple hundred dollars to well over $2,000. All of this comes out of our own pocket - we get no government help or funding.

Crates, leashes, collars, bowls, food, toys, treats, blankets, towels, shampoo, and preventatives (Heartgard & Frontline Plus - all sizes.)
